Quadruped Progression / Bird-Dog Progression:
We begin the quadruped progression on our hands and knees with our hands placed directly below our shoulders and our knees placed beneath our hips add theraband tied to contralateral hand and ankle. While keeping our core engaged we alternate reaching forward with one hand while trying to remain stable throughout. fighting against the tendency to lean or twist to maintain balance. We then progress to alternating kicking back with each leg and finally progress to a cross pattern between the the arms and legs(ie right arm is paired with left leg).
