The floor angel is performed while lying along the length of a foam roller. We begin by engaging the core and tilting the pelvis so that the curve of the low back disappears and the lower back comes in contact with the foam roller. From here we drop our arms to the sides trying to reach our elbows to the ground and moving our arms up and down as if making snow angels. The movement of the arms should be both deliberate and slow with focus given to creating movement of the shoulder blades and maintaining a tight core throughout the exercises.
