Bird Dogs - SFCC


Start in a position on your hands and knees. Knees should be positioned hip-width apart with feet flexed and hands should be placed directly under the shoulders with fingers facing forward.

Throughout this exercise, maintain a neutral spine and abdominal brace.

Begin by reaching your arms overhead, one at a time, trying not to sway side to side.

Next, extend your legs one at a time, kicking behind trying not to rotate the pelvis or lean side to side. Once this is achieved, progress to using opposite arms and legs together while keeping your core engaged avoiding any excessive sagging, arching or swaying of the low back.
