Start by finding the muscles right beneath the cheekbone. You will feel these muscles contract when you clench your teeth. Draw tension downwards as you open the jaw and let those muscles relax.
Next, find the muscle above the cheekbone; you will feel this muscle contract when you raise your eyebrows. Draw tension downwards as you slowly open the jaw. Lastly, find the deep jaw muscles in the small space between the upper and lower jaw. Use your index finger to gently roll into that small space applying tension towards the ears as you slowly open and close the jaw.
