Dead Bug Progression #2 - SFCC


This exercise is used to develop core strength and spinal stability. Start on your back with legs bent to 90° and arms extended straight in front of you reaching towards the ceiling. Throughout this exercise we want to maintain a neutral spine and abdominal brace. Tilt your pelvis and activate your core in order to keep your low back flat on the ground. Begin by extending or reaching one arm, then one leg at a time. Try to isolate each movement. You can then progress to performing this movement using opposite arm and leg together. Repeat on alternating sides.
